PPL Names Asprey as Official Trophy & Awards Partner
The season kicks off July 9-12 at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City
In this era of sponsors for everything, it isn’t always meaningful when a league or tournament announces a new partner.
But some sponsorships truly make sense and align perfectly with the organization.
The PPL’s announcement that Asprey is the Official Trophy & Awards Partner is an example of one of these.
For 245 years, Asprey has been synonymous with British luxury, craftsmanship and innovation, creating objects of lasting significance for royalty, heads of state, collectors and some of the world's most prestigious sporting competitions. Its trophy-making heritage spans the Premier League, Formula One, LIV Golf, UEFA competitions, Wimbledon and other elite international sporting events, so it makes perfect sense to sponsor the PPL.
This multi-year partnership brings Asprey's legacy of craftsmanship and sporting excellence to the Pro Padel League. Throughout the 2026 season, they will create all official trophies and awards across both PPL and PPL II, recognising champions across men's and women's competitions, qualifying tournaments and All-Star events, culminating in the unveiling of the first-ever City's Cup Championship Trophy at the PPL Finals in Miami.
“As the PPL continues its rapid growth, partnerships like this aren’t just milestones, they're a statement of our ambition for what's next,” said Diane Gotua, Chief Commercial Officer of the Pro Padel League. “Asprey’s trophies have defined sport's biggest moments, and we wanted nothing less for padel: a championship trophy worthy of the world's best players. We're excited to unveil the first official City's Cup later this season, then watch our champions design rings of their own.”
With the season’s first event from July 9-12 at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, all the pieces and partnerships are falling into place. The other four events will take place across North America in Los Angeles (Aug. 13-16), Playa del Carmen (Sept. 24-27), and Guadalajara (Nov. 19-22), with The City’s Cup, the league’s championship event, to be held Dec. 3-6 in Miami, the padel capital of the United States.
