Playtomic Heats Up in the U.S. with Reserve Padel Alliance
New padel clubs and players fuel court booking marketplace competition
With the meteoric rise of racket sports, companies are vying to provide support to the new players looking to try them out.
And nothing is more on fire than padel with clubs popping up all over the country creating a strong demand for key infrastructure to provide easier pathways for community growth and on-court playing.
Playtomic first launched back in 2017 to connect clubs and players to simplify the court booking process. It didn’t long for the platform to become the European leader and begin strong expansion efforts outside the EU. As padel continues to grow in the U.S., Playtomic has worked to position itself in this lucrative market and build a similar padel community to what it’s done in the EU.
In the latest major expansion move, Playtomic announced that Reserve Padel became part of its community and is now available on the app, allowing users to book courts and engage with the padel community. As many of us know, Reserve Padel is one of the leading luxury padel clubs in the country and creators of the successful Reserve Cup, which happened over the weekend.

“At Playtomic, this partnership with Reserve Padel represents a major step forward for padel in the United States. Together with a brand that shares our vision of quality, community, and excellence, we will continue to drive the development of the padel ecosystem across the country,” said Pablo Carro, co-founder and CCO of Playtomic.
The racket sports tech industry has become a hotbed for investment and chatter over the past couple years. While Playtomic is the leader outside the U.S., there will be real challenges and competition within the U.S. market as upstarts and innovators see the potential for scalable revenue and growth.
For now, the industry will be keeping an eye on what booking platforms are best at growing padel and other racket sports in the U.S. It’s an exciting time for innovation and the competitive pressure will be a net positive for everyone from clubs to players.
